When should I arrive in Dominican Republic
Travel delays can happen, so we highly recommend arriving by Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the latest. This gives you time to settle into your hotel, get familiar with the beautiful Zona Colonial area, and—most importantly—be ready for our Main Events.
Note: For our family already in Santo Domingo, no need to worry—this part doesn’t apply to you!
We truly can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and make unforgettable memories together.
Money Exchange?
Yes, the majority of places on the island accept Visa, Mastercard, and all major credit cards. However, the local currency is the Dominican Peso (DOP). If you plan to carry cash, we recommend exchanging your money at the airport for the best rates and a smoother, more convenient process.
Most prices you’ll see throughout the weekend will be listed in DOP (Dominican Pesos).
iPhone User Tip:
You can use the Calculator app to quickly convert currency and understand the exchange rate between USD and DOP.
Google also provides easy-to-use currency conversion tools for those who prefer that option.
